Ozokerite Wax

Organic ozokerite wax, also known as earth wax and paraffin, is a mineral wax used to enhance viscosity, stabilize emulsions, and improve gel strength. The high melting point of ozokerite makes it helpful in manufacturing candles in hot climates. It also creates ceresin wax as a byproduct when melted.

Also known as hydrocarbon waxes or petroleum, it can be light yellow to dark brown. It can be odorless or unpleasant in smell when fresh from the ground.

Ozokerite is compatible with mineral and vegetable wax and is used in creams, lotions, gels, makeup, hair care, and skincare products.

Organic white beeswax, on the other hand, is a natural wax produced by honey bees. It is typically off-white in color and has a sweet, honey-like aroma. Organic white beeswax is used in cosmetics as a natural emulsifier, thickener, and moisturizer. It can also help to improve the consistency and stability of formulations. Additionally, it provides a protective barrier to the skin, helping to prevent moisture loss.
